Mission – To safeguard the American Dream, Constitution, and Freedoms for future generations of Americans by ensuring the resilience and security of our Republic.
Strategy – A good strategy ties the ways and means together to achieve the desired end. The Ways are to advance communication with the American people to raise their awareness, enable their participation and support, and facilitate actions to restore America. The Means are leveraging the American people's involvement, experience, expertise, community leaders, governors, and elected/non-elected public servants. The desired End is a Resilient and Secure Republic.
Strategic Objectives:
The following are an initial set of strategic objectives. We seek to fulfill these objectives via a proactive posture of peaceful, persuasive, and effective engagement and support from you, the American people, community leaders, governors, and elected/non-elected public servants. We will work to accomplish these objectives, define new objectives, and sustain efforts to achieve our mission and restore America. We are sharing this strategy, and objectives and communicating them to governors, community leaders, public servants, and you the American people so as to inform you of our efforts, make you aware of the issues and how to engage, and empower you and others to act in a focused and sustained manner.

Empowering Innovation and Action – We realize that a single individual or group cannot solve or address the tremendous challenges and opposition we face in this ongoing cognitive war. Many citizens believe the situation is hopeless. This is a false belief. Power is available to the people. We, the people (citizens) have the power, we aren’t effectively using that power. We must define the desired future for America we wish, and proactively engage to realize that future. Or we can continue to react to, and cede our future to one defined by our enemies. Through the power of the people, we will solve the root problem – the failure of our public servants to live by and govern by the letter and spirit of the Republic, the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, associated laws, and their Oaths of Office.
Awareness, Empowerment, and Action – We welcome the support and engagement of all Americans in achieving the apolitical objectives set forth in this strategy. We stood up this commission to forestall the continued decline of our nation. We see the ideas and values that a vast majority of Americans believe in, exemplified by our Constitution and Bill of Rights, under assault by a minority set of extremists. We must act together to proactively engage and counter a sinister and dystopian set of ideas driven by a small minority who neither respects nor abides by the latter documents but instead seeks to subvert them. Our Republic gains its powers from the people, its citizens. We are turning to you, the people, to resolve these challenges and restore America. We will engage with you, our fellow Americans, to remind, guide, and direct our elected and non-elected public servants that they serve us – not vice versa. We, the people, hold power in this republic. We must work together to ensure a limited government, as detailed in the preamble to our Constitution.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
American’s Privilege – We must educate and help Americans realize that by birth or naturalization, our citizens are the most privileged on this earth. That this privilege is bestowed on us by those who came before us, many who paid the ultimate sacrifice. The privilege of being an American comes with great responsibility. Our future resilience and security depend not on what we can obtain individually but on what we can do in unity for our nation to preserve and pass on the greatest privilege that ever existed in the history of mankind.
The Cognitive War is the Existential Threat – We are in a Cognitive War[2], domestically and globally. It is “the” existential threat to America and by far more threatening and impactful than any kinetic war. Why should Americans care? Because the foundation of our Republic is being washed away below our feet, and because few understand this hidden war, we are likely to awaken one morning to find out the republic, our constitution, and our freedoms gone. The ongoing Cognitive War is true “the” existential threat to our Republic. It is not only China nor Russia but an internal socialist element seeking absolute power no matter the cost. If we fail to win the domestic cognitive war, we have no hope of winning the global cognitive war against China or Russia.
This cognitive war challenges America continually, domestically and globally. Those waging the domestic cognitive war are a small but well-organized and effective minority who seek to disrupt, destroy, undermine, and replace freedom and democratic values with dystopian and authoritarian models of power and subjugation. They use varied ways (ideologies like communism, religion, or issues) and means (education, economic, political) to achieve their desired ends. They are strategic, well-funded, patient, and methodically execute their strategy – under the false guise of everyday politics.
Their primary means is via the application of the socialist doctrine. The socialist doctrine serves as a model for the indoctrination of students in K-12 education and our universities. As a result of their indoctrination, our children have become alienated from our National Heritage. They drive the use of socialist ideologies like Critical Race Theory (CRT), which is now being taught not only at our US Military Academy and to soldiers in Basic Training, but in many classrooms throughout America. It is a doctrine that calls our constitutional Republic illegitimate, our laws unjust, and the Constitution an instrument for the institution of racial hatred. These elements call for our constitutional Republic's overthrow by denouncing the legality of our founding documents.
Their socialist doctrine calls for their followers to lie, cheat, and steal to acquire political power and to preserve a monopoly on political power once in office. Lenin, Mao, and Saul Alinsky called for followers to commit all crimes to advance the revolution. Consequently, we see extreme criminal conduct from the “summer of love” in 2020 to the weaponization of our federal agencies by a few miscreant leaders seeking to advance a one-party monopoly of political power by applying a two-tier justice system that protects their socialist allies from prosecution, while abusing the laws against political opponents using false allegations of criminal conduct.
Those leading the dystopian legions are deceitful, drive false narratives, and actively exploit our laws, institutions, freedoms, and governance to advance their desired dystopian, tyrannical, and authoritarian government models. Their dystopian governance models are an abomination to our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and God-given rights. Those leading this war encompass both foreign and domestic actors.
While the socialist elements have no limits on their efforts to destroy their political opponents, we see those opposing such mayhem behave in accordance with the Lord’s Commandments and ancient rules of order that bind no one except themselves. Most still naively believe that what we are witnessing in America is just everyday politics. No! It is a blood sport, a domestic cognitive war for absolute power. Thus, we find ourselves competing on an uneven playing field in an unjust contest between good and evil. We can no longer ignore this war. The line between freedom and tyranny is thin and gray. We must act or lose our Republic!
The American people see our traditional heritage and the constitutional order are in danger of being abolished and history erased. Over seventy percent of our fellow citizens believe our country is headed in the wrong direction. This plan offers the ways and means to ensure a desired end - the resilience and security of our Republic for tomorrow and future generations of Americans and those seeking like freedoms throughout the world.
The Challenge is to Awaken to Reality – The challenge is awakening the American people, our political, military, and other leaders to the reality of this ongoing domestic and global cognitive war. What we are seeing unfold is not just normal politics. For the extremists, it is a blood sport for absolute power. We must awaken to fight against those who seek to destroy our Republic, our way of life, our independence, and our freedoms. To do so we must begin focusing not on political, racial, religious, economic, or other categories being used to divide us – but by focusing on the fact that we are all Americans who seek to live and enjoy the freedoms, opportunities, and security of our Republic. The challenge is helping all Americans to understand that this is a perpetual war, not limited to our generation, one that will continue as long as mankind exists. Evil does exist in this world, and it is persistent in its efforts – we cannot ignore it, hide from it, or defeat it unless we act with purpose and remain resolved.
Our Constitutional Order is not a conspiracy to commit suicide. It is a civic culture created by the founders to preserve the freedom and liberties of the people. Traitors have no right to usurp the rights of citizens to destroy the rights of citizens and their constitutional order. Those seeking to destroy our constitutional order are traitors perpetrating crimes against our Republic. They must be removed from our classrooms and the public square. They must be tried and punished for their crimes. Moreover, every state and local official must uphold the law.
The impudence of the dystopian extremists to openly rebel against our Constitution, the Republic, and the rule of law must be ended. We have the right and the authority as the free people of the USA to defend the Constitution. It is our right to oppose those who abuse academic freedom in the name of communist insurrection and overthrow of the government. We have the right to remove traitors from public office. We have the right to remove books from our classrooms and libraries that violate our laws by advocating treason.
The Federal government needs to be more suited to restoring freedom at the state and local levels. The work must be carried out by exercising the power of the states and citizens. We must identify and hold those public servants who fail to uphold their oath of office, abide by our laws, or are complicit and corrupt in subverting our Constitution accountable and removing them from public service.
We see such in the growth of a counter-revolution originating in neighborhoods across the country. It is a revolution of parents disgusted with the indoctrination and sexualization of their children in public institutions by so-called “professionals” stating that they know what is best for the children and who believe parents should have no rights in determining the contents of their child’s education. These Marxist culprits have detonated the bomb of immorality intended to destroy the family and take down the constitutional order. It is already destroying countless lives. The restoration of academic freedom, free speech, and freedom of the pressing demand that those pushing socialist and extremist ideologies, ideas, and revised history be eliminated from the unions and the educational system: school boards, city councils, school administrations, and classrooms.
A Call to Action – Americans can no longer ignore the social, moral, and political collapse occurring before us. We must believe what we see, not what we hear. We must move our political discourse from the emotional to the logical and practical to resolve the subversion of our Republic via our own systems of education, governance, justice, and national security. We must address and ensure the solvency of our country by refuting an obscene growth in the federal bureaucracy and overindulgence in spending, as it sacrifices the flexibility and security of future generations. And we must better explain and gain the acceptance of Americans to understand that the resilience of our Republic and national security requires giving back to one’s country and at times, sacrifice. It is ill-conceived and irresponsible to saddle future generations with more outstanding debt and challenges. It is ill-conceived to allow a small minority of radical elements to dictate our future, subvert our governance, and destroy our republic. Each generation of America must emulate our founders, and the greatest generation, by not only sacrificing for the greater good of our nation but also ensuring they leave a stronger, more resilient foundation for future generations to ensure the resilience and security of our Republic. We have been silent too long. Let us defend our rights. Let us act together in restoring America[3].

Per US Code, Title 18, Section 2381. Treason is defined as:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
Locked in my garage!
Biden stated the “documents were in the garage, locked with my corvette.” First, let us state that several people are now behind bars, in prison, and convicted of lesser infractions. The question is NOT whether Trump and Biden will be treated the same – these are two different cases. And we’ve seen the progressives bend backward to state the exact opposite about Biden’s case – noting it was an “accident.” The hypocrisy of Senator Mark Warner, Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee, Adam Schiff, and many others is so thick – it shocks all senses from reality.
When questioned by reporters about not asking anything more about the documents “based on my lawyers’ advice,” Biden's statement is alarming. The fact that he is having his “lawyers” search for classified documents is even more disturbing. The question is why Biden’s lawyers were searching for classified or other documents.? Why were the documents there (two locations, are there more)? How did they get there? Who took them from the White House? What subject did they pertain to? It begs the apparent eight-hundred-pound gorilla-type question – what is he trying to cover up? Many more come to mind. He’s concerned about the…” laptop?”
When this story broke, I thought I heard screams of panic from the 50 plus hypocrite 50-plus IC executives who told us the laptop was Russian disinformation. LMAO! One can assume they’re now working on a letter that states top-secret SCI information really isn’t sensitive. Sure!
If any intelligence or another public or private sector professional used the above wording as an excuse – they would be tried for espionage, gross negligence, and several other crimes, convicted, and in jail. And so, there are several such people now in prison.
The first batch of classified documents was found at his center, partly funded by Communist China[1]. Then a day later, whoa! Another batch of classified documents was found near his corvette in the garage[2]. Let us put this in context. Most of this was known before the 2022 November election. Yet, no leaks from the leakiest bureaucracy the DOJ/FBI? Hmmm. More election interference? Likely, but let us stay focused. This is occurring while he uses the national security establishment as a weapon against us, we the people[3].
The national security establishment states the damage caused the loss of Top-Secret information “could cause exceptionally grave damage to national security.” It also states that such classified material “Must be under the positive control by an authorized person or stored in a locked security container/GSA safe, vault, secure room, or secure area.”
50 Years Plus of Experience
Biden’s known this for over 50 years!!! No excuses. None. Given the lack of positive control, a damage assessment will / must be conducted to assess the impacts of the potential loss of this information – given it “could cause exceptionally grave damage to national security.” I believe Biden should be held accountable to foot the cost for this assessment.
The Big Guy & 10% - Reporting and Other Requirements
As we look to Biden’s role as the “big guy,” getting 10% of fees from foreign business dealings, we must consider – why, what for, and to what extent. Is he compromised? As we see from reporting on his son Hunter’s laptop, that information points to several deals with China, Russia, and Ukraine. Given the press reporting, did Hunter (and the Big Guy), who apparently engaged with various foreign organizations, adhere to all mandatory reporting requirements? These organizations, I would suggest, all fell under federal reporting requirements and laws per US Code Title 18.[4]
An organization is "subject to foreign control" if:
- it solicits or accepts financial contributions, loans, or support of any kind, directly or indirectly, from, or is affiliated directly or indirectly with a foreign government or a political subdivision thereof, or an agent, agency, or instrumentality of a foreign government or political subdivision thereof, or a political party in a foreign country, or an international political organization.
(b) its policies, or any of them, are determined by or at the suggestion of, or in collaboration with, a foreign government or political subdivision thereof, or an agent, agency, or instrumentality of a foreign government or a political subdivision thereof, or a political party in a foreign country, or an international political organization.
(B)(1) The following organizations shall be required to register with the Attorney General:
Every organization subject to foreign control engages in political activity.
Every organization engages both in civilian-military activity and in political activity.
Every organization subject to foreign control which engages in civilian-military activity; and
Every organization, the purpose or aim of which, or one of the purposes or aims of which, is the establishment, control, conduct, seizure, or overthrow of a government or subdivision thereof by the use of force, violence, military measures, or threats of any one or more of the foregoing.
Every such organization shall register by filing with the Attorney General, on such forms and in such detail as the Attorney General may by rules and regulations prescribe, a registration statement containing the information and documents prescribed in subsection (B)(3) and shall within thirty days after the expiration of each period of six months succeeding the filing of such registration statement, file with the Attorney General, on such forms and in such detail as the Attorney General may by rules and regulations prescribe, a supplemental statement containing such information and documents as may be necessary to make the information and documents previously filed under this section accurate and current with respect to such preceding six months' period. Every statement required to be filed by this section shall be subscribed, under oath, by all of the officers of the organization.
For those unfamiliar, there is a slew of mandatory training regarding the handling and protection of classified documents. Security training on insider threats, those seeking to harm the United States, notes 13 guidelines to determine one’s eligibility to hold a clearance. Given Hunter’s laptop, and Biden’s possible involvement, I’ve highlighted several areas I would have grave concerns in granting Biden a clearance.

As noted, there are a slew of foreign reporting requirements to continue to hold clearances. Again, based on what we’ve heard of Hunter’s laptop, I’ve highlighted several areas of grave concern regarding Biden and his reporting. He may have reported his contacts with Hunter and these suspicious businesses. I do not know. But now we must, did he, to whom, about what/whom, and when? Was his reporting in full, or did he leave out information (now that we have the laptop)? We must also note that Biden’s son was involved with several foreign organizations.

There are also several executive orders and federal laws that address this issue. As “the” executive of the USA, he should know them. Hello! He has had 50 years of training. A few include:
- Executive Order 13526 -Classified National Security Information
- Executive Order 12968 -Access to Classified Information
- Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)
- Security Executive Agent Directives (SEAD)
Criminal and/or Treasonous?
There are standards for accessing, controlling, storing, removing, and destroying classified materials. The existence of Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in an unprotected university funded in part by Communist Chinese is very concerning. Then there was the second set in Biden’s garage “locked” with his corvette. Americans must also note that these documents were in his possession – while he was NOT Vice President. He was – like you and I – a citizen. These are major security violations, likely criminal at a minimum and treasonous. There is no way around his negligence. Just look at the latter references.
50 Years! After fifty-plus years of dealing with classified information, we see Biden’s disregard for protecting and dealing with such sensitive information. He is responsible. His lack of strict adherence to security protocols is gross negligence illegal and at minimum, complicit in criminal conduct and in violation of several laws. He should resign, then be charged and prosecuted.
Treason: What does Article 3 Section 3 of the Constitution mean?
Three key elements are necessary for an offense to constitute treason: an obligation of allegiance to the legal order and intent and action to violate that obligation. Treason is a breach of allegiance and of the faithful support a citizen owes to the sovereignty within which he lives. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act or on Confession in open Court.
What are the two ways to commit treason?
Treason against the United States shall consist only of levying war against them or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act or confession in open court. The most severe form of treason is high treason - crimes committed with the intent to put the Nation, or parts thereof, under foreign rule or influence.
I have written about the potential of Biden being compromised prior. I stand by my opinion and assessment that he’s not only compromised but that he is, in fact, the “Manchurian President.[5]” At a minimum, Biden’s abrogated his oath of office and should be impeached, removed from office, and barred from public service. We now have more than the two witnesses required to accuse Biden of treason. It is time for Congress to step up and fulfill its Constitutional duty and place Biden on trial for treason.

The following article reflects my opinion, based on my experiences, and my analysis.
Having worked in the Intelligence Community – and broader national security apparatus –for four decades, starting as a USAF intelligence officer, then a civilian contractor, and then returning to federal service as a senior executive, I have seen a lot.
To begin with, I have seen that the vast majority of those working in this apparatus are true American patriots. They make great sacrifices every day in time, family, and opportunity to advance the security of our Republic. There is a clear distinction between them and the leadership of these organizations, many of whom have become and very political, biased, and view the bureaucracy they serve as the key element to protect, rather than the country they serve and the Constitution they took an oath to uphold and defend.
Let me reiterate, as it is particularly important, the majority of those serving in national security mirror the public for which they serve – they are true patriots who are doing their best every day to realize the American dream while helping others like their neighbors, strangers, and those less fortunate here and abroad. This is quite different from the false narratives we hear about every day in our once-free press. A press that now serves as a fifth column to subvert and divide Americans by race, sex, religion, and economic status.
Protecting the Bureaucracy - Over these decades, from my observations and opinion, I have seen how some of these senior leaders moved from viewing their ultimate objective as protecting their bureaucracy or agency and growing it, vice upholding and defending the Constitution, serving their nation, and the public. Some of these leaders took actions that I viewed as being politically motivated or biased. They showed a willingness to use their station to undermine any opposition – including political opposition. There were instances, like the stand-up of the Office of Director of National Intelligence, where I saw legal counsel tell the staff at one agency to “ignore the law.” And so that agency did for several years and did all it could to undermine that new office, until such time around 2010 when that agency took full control of the ODNI and subsequently the IC. The primary objective – to protect their home agency. An objective that was shared by many leaders of their own agencies.
Subverting Democracy – What did this mean? What does this mean? To me, it reflects a broader effort by a minority set of bureaucrats, public servants, and leaders, both elected and not, who seek self-advancement, control, and power over the people, their country, and Constitution. They see their oath of office to their desired end, not for its intent to uphold and defend the constitution. It is driven by a small minority of subversive Americans who seek absolute power and view you and I, our Constitution, our laws, freedoms, independence, and lives as collateral damage in their quest for absolute power and sustaining their bureaucracy.
I believe their efforts have accelerated over the last six years. What we have seen is a blatant willingness to abuse their bureaucratic positions and power to a degree that threatens to subvert our democracy – and destroy our Republic.
We are facing the most existential threat to our Republic we have ever faced since the founding of our Republic. This is not normal politics, this is a war, an ongoing Domestic Cognitive War[1]. Left unanswered, it is more threatening and devastating than any challenge we face from adversaries like China and Russia, who, are waging a global cognitive war against the free world.
Believe what you see – The first step we must take to forestall losing this war, is to start believing what we see! [2] The second step is to no longer ignore the reality before us or look to others to fix “that” problem. The third step is to act, speak out, get involved, and push back on what is a blatant effort to subvert our Republic and its governing institutions and documents, to indoctrinate our children and young, and to use the power of the people given to OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS against the people. In simple terms – stop the weaponization of the authorities and law against the people they are intended to serve. The abuses are impacting every American – regardless of race, religion, or economic status. The good news is that that is now evident to many Americans.
Investigate and prosecute – We must start holding these bureaucrats, and complicit elected officials accountable. Let us quickly revisit the false dossier and Russian collusion hoax that was used to subvert and conduct a coup against a duly elected president. For those Nelly Nay Sayers that try to bury the truth, and paint false perceptions that those seeking, to tell the truth, are “conspiracy theorists of QAnon,” let us talk about the facts. We saw from that one collision event - we saw over two-dozen DOJ, FBI and other federal employees fired or forced to resign. One headline noted “Strzok Joins List of 25 Top FBI, DOJ Officials Who Have Been Recently Fired, Demoted, or Resigned.[3]”
For example:
- Peter Strzok – Fired
- James Comey Director FBI – Fired
- Andrew McCabe Deputy Director FBI - Fired
- James Baker – Deputy General Counsel – Twitter also – Fired
- Kevin Clinesmith FBI Lawyer – fired altering FISA warrant
- Bruce Ohr, who fed FBI opposition research from his wife Nellie Ohr of Fusion GPS - resigned
- And we saw the directors or deputy directors of CIA, ODNI, FBI all commit perjury in one way or another to hide the truth. Yet none of them were prosecuted?
Now take this in context to the FTX failure and fraud, the failure of Enron, or Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme. In each of the latter cases there is a handful – four to five key players – committing fraud. Here, in just a few short years we have seen twenty-plus FBI, DOJ, and other intelligence officials involved in nefarious efforts to undermine elections, commit perjury and lie repeatedly to the American public. Yet where is the accountability? Where are the arrests? Oh, that is right, the arrests, goon squad raids, and Gestapo tactics are being used against those who tried to bring out the truth! Ah yes, like you, the parents who were called domestic terrorists for not wanting your children indoctrinated.
Yet is the mission of the FBI, DOJ, ODNI, and CIA to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States! Within those same organizations, we see the bureaucrats battle to protect their bureaucracy – like when DOJ IG Michael Horowitz found no bias in the investigation. But then Attorney General Barr objected to the IG’s findings and said they did not have proper justification. He stated …"The Inspector General's report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken."[4]
Overhauling the National Security Apparatus – But this is just the tip of the iceberg. As we saw from some Congressional investigations – that “According to documents a whistleblower provided to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), DOJ’s Office of Disciplinary Appeals found 665 FBI employees, including 45 Senior Executive Service (SES) employees, retired or resigned following an FBI or DOJ Office of Inspector General investigation into alleged misconduct[5].
We saw the same Senator Grassley Criticize DOJ’s Consistent Failure to Prosecute Its Own Employees for Lying During Internal Investigations.[6] Another article speaks to the need for “35 Key People Involved in The Russia Hoax Who Need to Be Investigated.”[7] And my fellow Americans, which is only for the DOJ and FBI.
The task at hand is complex and requires taking head on the bureaucracies and bureaucrats who seek to sustain their power base, hold onto their positions, and use that to advance with other miscreants in the government an absolute hold on power that is anathema to the oaths of office they took. The upper hand is now with the bureaucrats, as they control the resources given a mix of a mostly spineless, and in many cases complicit and corrupt, set of Congressionally elected officials. The problem is compounded by a president, who is fully compromised, complicit, and corrupt and who is leading efforts to subvert our Republic.
The time to speak out is now. The time to get involved is now. The time to push back on these dystopian public servants is now. You the people hold power. It is time to use that power via your voice, and involvement, and engage your elected leaders. It is time to hold both them and the bureaucratic miscreants accountable. This is a complex task that cannot be achieved by one man or woman. It is a task that requires sacrifice at all levels from the public – mostly in your time – to ensure the resilience and security of our Republic.

Citizens Commisssion To Restore America

The contest is on.
In a wide-ranging interview with Breitbart, President Donald J. Trump responded to former House Speaker Paul Ryan’s assertion that Republicans cannot win with Trump as the presidential nominee in 2024.
“They said that in 2016 too, and then they said that in 2020,” said Trump. “But they didn’t say it with very much enthusiasm, and I ended up getting 12 million more votes than I did in 2016 and by any stretch—look, that election was rigged.” (Which, increasingly, is being validated. Exhibit A being the Pennsylvania court ruling on Nov. 1, 2022 regarding rules for counting absentee ballots.)
In contrast, he said, Ryan was a weak vice presidential candidate in 2012, failing to point out Obama is losing vulnerabilities, while handing Democrats a winning issue. “When Romney picked him, I said, ‘that’s the end of that election.’ Remember the wheelchair? He has the wheelchair over the cliff. That was Paul Ryan. No, he does not get it. He does not get it.” Trump was, of course, referring to Ryan’s tone-deafness in 2011, when it came to Medicare cuts, Trump arguing against cuts at that time as this author wrote in “The Art of the Entitlement Deal.”
In 2009, Ryan co-sponsored a smart piece of legislation called the The Patients Choice Act, along with then Cong. Devin Nunes (R-CA), from the Central Valley of California, and two others. But Ryan failed to highlight its policy and political brilliance and the bill got no traction and no publicity. So, this author worked with Nunes and his staff to write an article on “Healthcare Reform: The Private Option,” published by the Manhattan Institute’s Medical Progress Today on October 23, 2009.
Powerful health care interests would not allow the bill to see the light of day. But Nunes knew exactly how to parry the Democrats’ plan to put health care on a single payer trajectory but was not given the opportunity. And, there was a window to put patients first, as this author suggested in “Republicans’ health care summit trump card,” published in the Washington Times on February 22, 2010. But, given the lack of leadership, the reconciled Obamacare bill subsequently passed on March 23, 2010, a month after the health care summit. It had initially passed both chambers just like this year’s Omnibus monstrosity on or about Christmas Eve. Recall that then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, they needed to pass the bill in March 2010 to see what was in it.
Paul Davis Ryan was born in Janesville, Wisconsin on January 29, 1970, graduating from Miami University in Ohio in 1992, after which he was the anointed “golden boy” starting at Empower America as Jack Kemp’s speechwriter. Then, he became top legislative aide for Cong. Sam Brownback before returning home to Wisconsin in 1997 to work for his family’s construction company and run for Congress, winning a seat in 1998 after which he was spirited into top positions, including House Budget Chair in 2007, edging out more senior members, and then Speaker of the House, elected on October 29, 2015, when John Boehner resigned and no one else wanted the job. He resigned the speakership four years ago tomorrow after Republicans lost the House.
He is a nice guy, but he simply does not have the right stuff other than an affable demeanor and the ability to follow the neoconservative power blueprint point by point. And while he was an able Budget Committee Chairman, he went too far on Medicare cuts, as noted, and fumbled the ball again and again as House Speaker.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy—Ryan’s handpicked successor— has only 213 votes to become the next House Speaker although he is promising everything but the kitchen sink to the House Freedom Caucus to get their votes, including the right to vacate the chair. So, if not McCarthy, who? Problem is that all the candidates whose names are being floated either do not want the job or do not have the support.
The irony is that Devin Nunes, just forty-nine, is the ideal “unity candidate.”
Smart as a whip with proven strength, he puts country above all else, evidenced by his relentless drive to get to the bottom of the Russia hoax that shackled Trump’s presidency in spite of which he managed to get loads done for the American people vis-à-vis energy independence, border security, deregulation, thereby freeing up the economy, etc. Nor was Nunes’ investigation exactly a career boost for him, and he resigned from congress just a year ago, the power brokers, no doubt, thinking his political career was deader than dead.
But, just like Theodore Roosevelt in his battles with Roscoe Conkling, Senator from New York, left for politically dead when he was kicked up to the vice presidency, only to be resurrected as President of these United States less than a year later; Devin Nunes’ moment has arrived. And, as House Speaker, since Nunes resigned his post, he could focus his undivided attention on moving the busy House agenda forward to save America at this perilous hour.
Yes, the contest is on. And Devin Nunes is Central Casting for the Republican unity candidate for the 55th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

To: US Government – Stop Wasting and Spending our Money
The federal government spends money on a variety of goods, programs, and services to support the American public and pay interest incurred from borrowing. In fiscal year (FY) 2022, the government spent $6.27 trillion, which was more than it collected (revenue), resulting in a deficit. The U.S. Constitution gives Congress the ability to create a federal budget – in other words, to determine how much money the government can spend over the course of the upcoming fiscal year. Congress’s budget is then approved by the President. Every year, Congress decides the amount and the type of discretionary spending, as well as provides resources for mandatory spending.
It is imperative that the US Government become fiscally responsible NOW in spending the People’s money. Enough is enough of the continued wasteful spending at all levels of government (federal, state, and local). The government has lacked discipline and integrity in bleeding money from the Treasury.[1]

What is included in government spending?
Four months after the US national debt shot past the $30 trillion mark for the first time in history, a new report from Illinois-based nonprofit American Transparency is detailing some of the foolish, fraudulent, and frivolous federal projects that have spent us into an economic ditch.
“The federal government isn’t just wasting your money. They are literally ripping you off,” said Adam Andrzejewski, the Transparency group’s founder. “They are milking taxpayers like dairy cows.” Andrzejewski pointed to a March report from the Government Accountability Office that tallied $281 billion in improper and mistaken payments in 2021 alone – without even attempting to count the billions wasted on fraud-ridden COVID.
The Democrats, Independents, and Republicans have failed the American people. BOTH PARTIES and all Presidents are responsible for this financial disaster. THEY OWN IT! The Federal deficit has been out of control for years! The following report does not surprise me at all, the two-party system in America has been broken for years. Power, Partisan Politics and Greed have taken over American politics.[3] Attempts to the resolution of Issues and problems are seemingly analyzed by peering through a political prism rather than a Reality Prism.[4]
There is no attention on our children that do not get proper food every day in America. The elderly getting forgotten about in our country. Where are all these people that are not working getting their money to live on? Businesses and Companies cannot get enough workers. This problem is all over America, the land of FREE MONEY! Government assistance has gone too far. Who is watching out for hard-working Americans? How about the billions flowing into Ukraine and for the most part unaccountable?
We cannot control INFLATION unless we get government spending down.
CBO periodically issues a compendium of policy options and their effects on the federal budget. This document provides estimates of the budgetary savings from 83 options that would decrease federal spending or increase federal revenues. Congress faces an array of policy choices as it confronts a daunting budgetary situation. At 14.9 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), the deficit in 2020 was the largest it has been since the end of World War II. Much of that deficit stemmed from the 2020 coronavirus pandemic and the government’s actions in response —but the projected deficit was large by historical standards ($1.1 trillion, or 4.9 percent of GDP) even before the disruption caused by the pandemic. In the Congressional Budget Office’s projections, deficits as a percent of GDP fall between 2021 and 2027 (from 8.6 percent of GDP to 4.0 percent), and then increase to 5.3 percent of GDP by 2030—more than one-and-a-half times the average over the past 50 years.
CBO projects that if current laws governing taxes and spending generally remained unchanged, federal debt held by the public would first exceed 100 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021 and would reach 107 percent of GDP, its highest level in the nation’s history, by 2023. Debt would continue to increase in most years thereafter, reaching 195 percent of GDP by 2050. High and rising federal debt makes the economy more vulnerable to rising interest rates and, depending on how that debt is financed, rising inflation. The growing debt burden also raises borrowing costs, slowing the growth of the economy and national income, and it increases the risk of a fiscal crisis or a gradual decline in the value of Treasury sec No political speech or press event can finish without at least one question linking whatever the topic may be back to the budget and its impact on the national debt. From the campaign to the inauguration to the State of the Union address, the underlying theme was balancing the budget and eliminating or getting our national debt under control. There is a serious question as to whether this can even be done considering the size and scope of federal spending. However, it is possible, and if we look at the size and scope of the government, military spending, entitlements, and tax reform, there are several suggested ways to eliminate our deficit by 2030.
1. Cut Foreign Aid in Half - $17 billion. As a country, we are facing huge deficits and cannot continue to provide aid at current amounts. If we cannot help ourselves, how can we help others? My solution is not to eliminate foreign aid. Countries must earn our aid and give no aid based on international politics. Give based on need! Aid to Ukraine is above and beyond this amount.
2. Eliminate Earmarks - $14 billion. Earmarks have been a great talking point for both parties during campaign season, but no one ever does anything about it, because these pet projects for home districts are a good way to keep securing votes. Let’s finally put an end to the practice.

4. Reduce the Size of World-Wide Troop Presence - $49 billion. We can produce savings by reducing the size of the military to the pre-Iraq War size and reducing our presence in Europe and Asia by 26%, which would also be less (33%) than future projected levels. Acting as the police of the world only stretch our defenses out, and as history has proven all great empires fall when they stretch their defenses too far.
5. Cap Medicare Growth - $562 billion. If we cap Medicare growth at G.D.P. plus one percentage point, we can start saving significantly. One piece of reform this could spark is looking at the hospitals and doctors with the highest costs and look for ways to reduce them.
6. Reduce Benefits for Those With High Incomes - $54 billion. Social Security will continue to be a hot topic. One way to produce savings that is not talked about widely is reducing the benefits of high earners. This is not eliminating their benefits or giving the benefits they paid for to someone else. What it does do, is grow its benefits at a slower clip.
7. Return Estate and Investment Taxes back to Clinton-Era Levels - $150 billion. The Clinton era is the last time we had a balanced budget and a surplus. Since that time both presidents have run deficits and run our debt to all-time highs. It makes sense to return tax rates to the Clinton levels since that was the last time the government was prosperous.
8. Payroll Tax: Subject Incomes Over $106,000 to the tax - $100 billion. This is the tax that pays for Social Security and Medicare, but we cap how much income can be taxed. If we remove or increase this cap, we can generate a lot more money for these programs that can increase their longevity.
9. Eliminate Loopholes, Credits, and Lower Rates - $229 billion. The deficit commission came up with a plan to lower rates, while also eliminating some tax breaks in the Bowles-Simpson Plan. The plan cut all breaks except for the child and earned income credits and those for mortgages, health, and retirement benefits while cutting the corporate tax rate and individual rates for all brackets. I take this one step further by adding the mortgage deduction as well. Currently, high earners benefit the most from the credit and not middle to lower-income homeowners. If we are lowering rates across the board we can eliminate this credit, or at a minimum think of ways to reform it.
Trying to find a balanced approach is never easy but doable and my final numbers came from 60% spending cuts and 40% tax increases. Our leaders in Washington are more focused on their respective party lines than doing what is right for the country. As a result, we have people resigned to the fact that we may never have a balanced budget or eliminate our debt. The fact of the matter is that if our political leaders can stop looking for the easy way out and instead focus on the size and scope of the government, military spending, entitlements, and tax reform we can eliminate our federal debt by 2030.

The federal government spends money on a variety of goods, programs, and services to support the American public and pay interest incurred from borrowing. In fiscal year (FY) 2022, the government spent $6.27 trillion, which was more than it collected (revenue), resulting in a deficit. The U.S. Constitution gives Congress the ability to create a federal budget – in other words, to determine how much money the government can spend over the course of the upcoming fiscal year. Congress’s budget is then approved by the President. Every year, Congress decides the amount and the type of discretionary spending, as well as provides resources for mandatory spending.
It is imperative that the US Government become fiscally responsible NOW in spending the People’s money. Enough is enough of the continued wasteful spending at all levels of government (federal, state, and local). The government has lacked discipline and integrity in bleeding money from the Treasury.[1]

Four months after the US national debt shot past the $30 trillion mark for the first time in history, a new report from Illinois-based nonprofit American Transparency is detailing some of the foolish, fraudulent, and frivolous federal projects that have spent us into an economic ditch.
“The federal government isn’t just wasting your money. They are literally ripping you off,” said Adam Andrzejewski, the Transparency group’s founder. “They are milking taxpayers like dairy cows.” Andrzejewski pointed to a March report from the Government Accountability Office that tallied $281 billion in improper and mistaken payments in 2021 alone – without even attempting to count the billions wasted on fraud-ridden COVID.
The Democrats, Independents, and Republicans have failed the American people. BOTH PARTIES and all Presidents are responsible for this financial disaster. THEY OWN IT! The Federal deficit has been out of control for years! The following report does not surprise me at all, the two-party system in America has been broken for years. Power, Partisan Politics and Greed have taken over American politics.[3] Attempts to the resolution of Issues and problems are seemingly analyzed by peering through a political prism rather than a Reality Prism.[4]
There is no attention on our children that do not get proper food every day in America. The elderly getting forgotten about in our country. Where are all these people that are not working getting their money to live on? Businesses and Companies cannot get enough workers. This problem is all over America, the land of FREE MONEY! Government assistance has gone too far. Who is watching out for hard-working Americans? How about the billions flowing into Ukraine and for the most part unaccountable?
We cannot control INFLATION unless we get government spending down.

This document provides estimates of the budgetary savings from 83 options that would decrease federal spending or increase federal revenues. Congress faces an array of policy choices as it confronts a daunting budgetary situation. At 14.9 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), the deficit in 2020 was the largest it has been since the end of World War II. Much of that deficit stemmed from the 2020 coronavirus pandemic and the government’s actions in response —but the projected deficit was large by historical standards ($1.1 trillion, or 4.9 percent of GDP) even before the disruption caused by the pandemic. In the Congressional Budget Office’s projections, deficits as a percent of GDP fall between 2021 and 2027 (from 8.6 percent of GDP to 4.0 percent), and then increase to 5.3 percent of GDP by 2030—more than one-and-a-half times the average over the past 50 years.
CBO projects that if current laws governing taxes and spending generally remained unchanged, federal debt held by the public would first exceed 100 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021 and would reach 107 percent of GDP, its highest level in the nation’s history, by 2023. Debt would continue to increase in most years thereafter, reaching 195 percent of GDP by 2050. High and rising federal debt makes the economy more vulnerable to rising interest rates and, depending on how that debt is financed, rising inflation. From the campaign to the inauguration to the State of the Union address, the underlying theme was balancing the budget and eliminating or getting our national debt under control. However, it is possible, and if we look at the size and scope of the government, military spending, entitlements, and tax reform, there are several suggested ways to eliminate our deficit by 2030.
1. Cut Foreign Aid in Half - $17 billion. As a country, we are facing huge deficits and cannot continue to provide aid at current amounts. If we cannot help ourselves, how can we help others? My solution is not to eliminate foreign aid. Countries must earn our aid and give no aid based on international politics. Give based on need! Aid to Ukraine is above and beyond this amount.
2. Eliminate Earmarks - $14 billion. Earmarks have been a great talking point for both parties during campaign season, but no one ever does anything about it, because these pet projects for home districts are a good way to keep securing votes. Let’s finally put an end to the practice.
